What a poor sad old snarkel!!! Is he related to Ganesh, perchance?!!

Comments:

1) My book of Hindu mythology tells me that Ganesh presides over change and renewal.

2) My immediate reaction is to think of ARCHIMBOLDO. whose paintings are - in books - so comical and ugly but so precious and fabulous when you see them for real.

3) Oscar's Snarkel is an arial, bouyant creature. Yours is bogged down in age and responsibility. Like the king of a dying regime. He is very moving.

4) Is this jazz? Oscar plays Cannonball Adderley...Andrei plays Coleman Hawkins.

Very fascinating experiment Andrei.

I liked the three portraits of old Auguste Renoir by Carlos Alonso on Oscar's blog and I also liked Snarkel :0) I wanted to mix the two together but then I chose Rubens style instead - and this is what I got!!!

Thank-you all for your comments! and interesting that it looks like Hindu mythology to you!
The power of Snarkel - he is transforming.............. what is his next reincarnation?!?
