Hi Andrei! Im in love with your work!!! I was wondering about those character sculptures in your studio. Would be great if you could give us a little info on them. Who did them and what did you/they used to create them ? Clay or maybe something else... TIA
Hello Andrei! As always amazing colour, marvellous lights! I love these eyes... "Wimoweh... In the jungle, the magic jungle, the lion sleeps tonight....Wimoweh!"
To Dan-Thanks for your comment.:O)Use to be was, but is not anymore for a long time.
Spasibo Martin!:O)
Allways glad to read your comments Virginia!
Oscar Miaoowww!
Welcome back Uli!
To anonymous-I have drawn character in two positions. A structure and a fullface .Then the sculptor(Misha Chevushyan-very good master!) has moulded a figure from plasticine. Then it casts a sculpture from plaster .And from plaster model does the rubber form from which does casting of plastic. I hope, that my English is clear.. :O)
Thanks for the reply, Andrei! Does Misha have a site or blog where I can see more of his work. Misha is Michael right(my father is originaly from russia I was raised in germany but my russian is quite good actually)? I tried to find Misha's work but all my efforts were in vain ...my name is Jenya by the way..have my own blog but it is still emty at the moment. I will work on that.
